1. Fold the complete set

Include the fitted sheet, flat sheet and pillowcases you plan to store together. Use the fold you will actually use in the closet.

2. Measure three dimensions

Measure the longest side, the shorter side and the height of the folded stack without compressing it unrealistically.

3. Pay attention to volume

Thick flannel, fleece, deep-pocket sheets and extra pillowcases can increase the folded volume even when the mattress size is unchanged.

4. Compare with the organizer
